Lice are nice !

I’m a very little bug
Actually I’m a flea
I’m getting quite a complex
Because nobody likes me!


I live in cozy hair.
And lovely thick rugs
And sometimes have the pleasure
Of meeting other bugs!

I jump about and skip around
And try not to intrude
But when people discover me
They really are quite rude!

They write letters from school,
Oh really what a fuss!
Imagine! letters from school
About the likes of us !

I love to go to school
All my friends are there
We jump and change colors
On everybody’s hair!



We have another names
I think its nits or lice
It makes me feel important
It sounds rather nice!

I seem to make them itchy,
They rummage and they scratch
But I really am too busy
With all my eggs to hatch!


The mothers go crazy
They moan and they complain
They buy this stinky soap
And I’m off down the drain

I’d love to stay around
It’s good to have a chat
I have laid lots of eggs
And will probably be back!
